On April 7, 2013 the Representatives of the Defence Office of the Embassy of Ukraine in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland met with the Members of the Association of Ukrainian Former Combatants.
The representatives of Youth Association, Association of Ukrainian women in Great Britain as well as several other organizations of the Ukrainian Diaspora in the UK took part at the meeting.
Current state and prospects of development of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were among the main topics of the discussion.
"The purpose of our ambitious reforms is to achieve European standards of life and prepare for the application for the EU membership in 2020," the Head of State said.
On October 24, 2014 Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of Tajikistan Viktor Nikitiuk took part in the 12th certification ceremony at the OSCE Border Management College in Dushanbe, capital of Tajikistan.
On October 22, 2014, a decision was approved at the OSCE Permanent Council meeting, to extend for one month, until November 23, the mandate of OSCE Observer Mission at two Russian checkpoints at the Russian-Ukrainian state border – Hukovo and Donetsk.
On October 22, 2014, the Ambassador of Ukraine to the U.S. Olexander Motsyk met with members of the U.S.-Ukraine Business Council at the Washington Offices of Cargill, the largest agricultural corporation in the world.
