Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of Sweden General Micael Bydén visits Ukraine
On 1-3 October 2017, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of Sweden General Micael Bydén visited Ukraine.
In the course of his meetings with Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, General of the Army of Ukraine Viktor Muzhenko and visits to the Training Center on Tactical Medicine of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Swedish delegation reaffirmed its readiness to further support the expansion and deepening of the existing military cooperation with Ukraine, in particular, in the issues of army modernization in compliance with NATO standards. New dimensions of military cooperation between Ukraine and the Kingdom of Sweden were also discussed during the talks.
Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of Sweden General Micael Bydén and members of the Swedish delegation visited areas in the East of Ukraine where Anti-Terrorist Operation is being held.
