He called upon the Russian Federation to stop aggression and strictly implement the provisions of the Minsk agreements, that would stabilize the humanitarian situation. The Permanent Representative thanked the UNHCR and other international partners for the assistance provided to Ukraine in tackling existing humanitarian challenges and expressed hope for further active cooperation. He has also drawn attention to the unique experience gained by Ukraine in responding to the large internal displacement of persons against the backdrop of the hybrid external aggression that could be taken on board while elaborating the Global Compact on Refugees.
