State Secretary for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andriy Zayats attended the swearing-in ceremony of the President of the Republic of Kenya
November 28, 2017 in Nairobi Hon. Uhuru Kenyatta was sworn-in as President of the Republic of Kenya.
The official inauguration was attended by the State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine H.E. Mr. Andriy Zayats.
During the meeting with the Principal Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kenya Amb. Monica Juma H.E. Mr. Andriy Zayats handed over a letter of congratulation from H.E. Mr. Petro Poroshenko, President of Ukraine, addressed to H.E. Hon. Uhuru Kenyatta, C.G.H., President of the Republic of Kenya, as well as assured of Ukraine's determination to continue cooperation with the Kenyan Government for the benefit of the peoples of both states.
Also as part of the official events H.E. Mr. Andriy Zayats held meetings with the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs of Rwanda Amb. Olivier Nduhungirehe and the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Somalia Amb. Ali Mohamed Ali, where the counterparts discussed relevant issues of bilateral and multilateral cooperation, in particular within the framework of the international organizations.
