Ukraine was discussed at the seminar in London
On October 1, 2014 Mr Andrii Kuzmenko, Head of the Ukrainian diplomatic mission, took part in the «What Future for Ukraine and the European Union?» seminar, which was organised by «Civitatis International» think tank for the ambassadors accredited to the UK.
“Ukraine does all it takes to provide peace at Donbass, but it could not be done unilaterally. Along with that Ukraine requires more practical assistance in political, economic and military-technical fields,” Mr Kuzmenko said.
Chair in the Department of International Relations at the London School of Economics Prof Michael Cox and a member of the House of Lords, member of the Joint Parliamentary Committee on the National Security Strategy the Rt.Hon the Baroness Neville-Jones DCMG PC were also among main speakers of the event.
The participants emphasised on the necessity of increasing the financial support of Ukraine and strengthening the sanctions in order to deter the Kremlin’s aggressive policy.
The event was attended by the representatives of 28 diplomatic missions, as well as by the Goodenough College students.
