Embassy of Ukraine in Jordan participated in Annual Charity Christmas Bazaar

On December 4, 2015 the Embassy of Ukraine in Jordan participated in the Annual Charity Christmas Bazaar, which was held under the patronage of HRH Prince Raad Bin Zeid and HRH Princess Majda Raad. 

Near 40 Diplomatic Representations and women’s associations, accredited in the Kingdom, took part in the Bazaar. They were selling their national goods, gifts and traditional foods of their countries.

At the begging HRH Prince Raad Bin Zeid and Ambassador of Ukraine Dr. Sergiy Pasko cut the cake with flags of Ukraine and Jordan.

The Embassy of Ukraine presented wooden products, handmade accessories,  “ROSHEN” chocolate products, cosmetics made by LTD “BIOCON”, alcoholic drinks TM “Kozatska Rada” and “Morosha”, as well as Ukrainian food – dumplings (varenyky), stuffed cabbage rolls, meat snacks, sweets and biscuits.    

The money, procured from the selling of the national products will be used for the supporting children with disabilities patronized by «Al Hussein Society», which was established in 1971. HRH Prince Raad Bin Zeid and HRH Princess Majda Raad expressed gratitude to the Embassy of Ukraine for the brilliant exposition of the products of the Ukrainian masters as well as for the exhibition of the Ukrainian food products.

During the Bazaar the Ambassador of Ukraine gave two interviews, in particularly to the First National Channel of Jordan. He described national souvenirs and traditional foods, which were presented by the Embassy and expressed his gratitude to the organizers of the event for the opportunity to represent national products in the Kingdom for other countries.

In the framework of Bazaar Entertainment, Ukrainian Children’s group sang songs in Ukrainian and in English, as well as they danced two dances.

The Embassy of Ukraine expressed gratitude to Ukrainian community and leadership of public organization “Shield” for assistance and support during the Bazaar.
