Newly appointed European Union Ambassador expressed support to Ukraine`s European integration aspirations
“I’m aware of Ukraine`s European integration aspirations. My mission for the next four years is to undertake all possible efforts to bring Ukraine closer to the EU”, said the newly appointed European Union Ambassador to Ukraine Matti Maasikas while presenting copies of credentials to the Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Olena Zerkal this Thursday, 12 September 2019.
Officials discussed prospects of cooperation between Ukraine and the EU and emphasized the importance of common efforts to ensure proper and efficient implementation of the Association Agreement.
O. Zerkal expressed Ukraine`s interest in EU`s continued support for extensive reforms in Ukraine and countering Russian aggression.
