During the meeting topical issues of bilateral relations between Ukraine and Canada as well as ways of further development of the Special Partnership between the two countries have been discussed.

The parties exchanged views on current threats and challenges that were in the focus of the Seoul Summit. The Canadian Foreign Minster recognized Ukraine’s contribution to the global nuclear security. 

Both sides confirmed the interest of both countries to maintain regular political dialogue at the high level, as well as to further advance on the path towards conclusion of a bilateral free trade agreement.

The parties discussed joint activities in the OSCE and noted the contribution of this organization to observance of democratic elections standards.
