Deputy Minister Victor Mayko meets Secretary General for International Economic Relations and Development Cooperation of Greek Foreign Ministry Panayiotis Mihalos

During the meeting the Sides discussed topical issues of bilateral trade and economic cooperation and expressed readiness to strengthen interaction in the fields of energy, including renewable energy, shipbuilding, tourism.
In this regard, the Sides emphasized the importance of further activity of the Intergovernmental Ukrainian – Greek Working Group on economic, industrial, scientific and technical cooperation.
The Sides highly praised the Ukrainian-Greek cooperation in the BSEC and discussed the ways of further cooperation in the context of the current Ukrainian presidency in this regional organization.
P. Mihalos has also expressed the support of the Greek Side of the signing of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU in the nearest future as well as promoting Ukraine's European integration, in particular, in the context of the Greek Presidency in the EU Council in the first half of 2014.
