Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs Andrii Olefirov meets Ambassador of Latvia to Ukraine Ms. Argita Daudze

The parties discussed bilateral agenda issues in the context of fulfilling agreements reached by the President of Ukraine V.Yanukovych and the President of the Republic of Latvia Andris Bērziņš during the official visit of the President of Latvia to Ukraine on the 14th - 15th of March, 2013.
H.E. Ms. Argita Daudze confirmed that the Latvian Side is ready to engage closely with Ukraine in order to ensure the signing of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU, including the Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Area, by the time of the Eastern Partnership Summit in Vilnius in November 2013. The Ambassador has also stressed that the Latvian Side is interested in maintaining sustainable dynamics of high level political dialogue.
