Minister for Foreign Affairs Leonide Kozhara gives interview to "Globus Vision" press-agency

“Further deepening of Ukraine-EU relations, in particular by signing the Association Agreement, constitutes the basic interest for both Ukraine and the EU”, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Leonid Kozhara said during an interview for the press-agency “Globus Vision”, which will be published in a leading German financial magazine “Capital”.
The Foreign Minister informed the representatives of the agency on the realization of the Ukraine’s European Integration Priority Actions Plan for 2013. Mr. Kozhara mentioned adaptation of legislation to the European standards, implementation of comprehensive systemic reforms in various public sectors as top-priority tasks on the Government’s agenda, also with a view to finalizing the preparation for the Association Agreement with the EU to be signed this year.
“The European choice is supported by all key political forces of Ukraine as well as by the majority of our people”, stressed the Minister.
The current issues of Ukraine’s OSCE Chairmanship and Ukraine-German relations were also discussed during the meeting.
