Deputy Foreign Minister Andrii Olefirov meets NATO Assistant Secretary General for Political Affairs and Security Policy Dirk Brengelmann

During the meeting, a wide range of issues pertaining to NATO-Ukraine cooperation was discussed, including, inter alia, maintaining and boosting political dialogue with Ukraine through the NATO-Ukraine Commission (NUC).
NATO representative was updated on the steps recently taken by Ukraine as preparations to signing the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement were underway.
Ambassador Brengelmann expressed high appreciation for Ukraine’s engagement in the NATO-led peace-keeping operations, highlighting the fact of Ukraine being the only partner nation to participate in all ongoing NATO operations.
Ukraine’s recent joining the NATO anti-piracy Operation Ocean Shield was welcome.
