Within the framework of the Conference H.E. Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Victor Mayko held a protocol meeting with H.E. President of Mongolia Tsakhiagiin Elbegdorj. In the course of the meeting the Sides highly evaluated the level of bilateral relations and emphasized the importance of bilateral dialogue at highest level.

H.E. Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Victor Mayko as well conducted a meeting with H.E. Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia Luvsanvandan Bold. During the meeting the Sides positively assessed current dynamics of Ukrainian-Mongolian cooperation and reached understanding on the necessity of speeding-up the preparations of bilateral events on high level.

H.E. Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Victor Mayko informed Mongolian Minister about the priorities of Ukrainian Chairmanship in the OSCE and presented the invitation issued by H.E. Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Leonid Kozhara to his Mongolian colleague to take part in high-level International Conference on combating human trafficking that will be held on 10-11th of June 2013 in Kyiv and the OSCE Youth Summit in August in the Crimea.

Mr. Victor Mayko also met with Deputy Minister of Defence of Mongolia, Co-Chairman of the Intergovernmental Ukrainian-Mongolian Comission on military-technical cooperation A.Battur, Undersecretary of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Poland Jerzy Pomianowski, Minister of National Development of Hungary Zsuzsa Németh, Vice Minister of  Foreign Affairs of the Republic of  Korea Cho Tae-yul, Head of Mexican delegation to the 7th Ministerial Meeting of the Community of Democracies, Permanent Representative of Mexico to the United Nations Office and other International Organizations in Geneva Juan José Gómez Camacho and a range of representatives of business community of Mongolia.

On 29th of April 2013 H.E. Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Victor Mayko met with Deputy Secretary of State of the United States of America William J. Burns. During the meeting, the Sides discussed topical issues of bilateral cooperation, in particular, cooperation in energy sphere and the situation on Korean peninsula. Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine informed his American colleague about the priorities of Ukrainian Chairmanship in the OSCE.

Later that day, during his meeting with Acting Assistant Secretary for Democracy, Human Rights and Labor Uzra Zeya Mr. Victor Mayko, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine expressed gratitude for the support of Ukrainian priorities for the Chairmanship in the OSCE. He noted that in the course of the preparations for the Eastern Partnership Summit in November 2013 Ukraine is determined to fulfill its obligations taken during the Ukraine-EU Summit.

Uzra Zeya emphasized that the Government of the United States will further support the eurointegration efforts of Ukraine, which includes the support during the preparatory process for the EU summit in Vilnius.
