Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, OSCE Chairperson-in-Office Leonid Kozhara during his working visit to the Republic of Poland held a meeting with acting Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration of the Republic of Moldova Iurie Leanca within the framework of the ministerial meeting in the Visegrad Four + Eastern Partnership format.
The sides discussed top priorities of bilateral cooperation, having expressed their readiness to resolve a range of pressing issues on the Ukrainian-Moldavian agenda in the course of this year.
Special attention was paid to the interaction between Ukraine and Moldova as regards EU integration of both countries. Ministers Kozhara and Leanca touched upon cooperation within international organizations, mainly with respect to Ukraine’s OSCE Chairmanship in 2013. They also exchanged views on the preparation of the forthcoming round of talks on Transnistrian settlement in 5+2 format to be held in Odessa on May 23-24, 2013.
