We feel understanding and affinity for the position of Georgian authorities and civil society, as regards the resistance towards Russia’s occupation, and consider it crucial that any manifestations of Russia's hybrid war against Ukraine, Georgia, or other countries, are stopped in their track.

Ukraine would like to reaffirm solidarity with the Georgian people in their struggle for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of their Motherland, as well as our support for the strengthening and further development of democracy and democratic institutions in Georgia.

We consider the demarche by the Ambassador of Ukraine a positive act, and his actions – dignified and professional.
