On August 29, 2013 Deputy Foreign Minister of Ukraine Mr. Victor Mayko and Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland Mrs. Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz held Ukrainian-Polish political consultations in Kyiv.
They discussed a wide range of key issues of Ukrainian-Polish cooperation in political, economic and humanitarian spheres, as well as a schedule of meetings at the highest and high level, in particular between the heads of state and government.
Deputy Minister Mayko and Pełczyńska-Nałęcz focused on practical functioning of bilateral institutional mechanisms as well as on VI meeting of Ukrainian-Polish Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation to be held in Warsaw.
The parties agreed and initialed a draft Program of Ukrainian-Polish Cooperation 2013-2015.
The parties paid particular attention to the interaction between Ukraine and Poland in European integration issues, in the context of upcoming Eastern Partnership Summit in Vilnius, as well as to key issues on international affairs.
