On 6 February 2012, Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin met with Philip H. Gordon, the U.S. Assistant Secretary of State, Head of the Bureau of European and Eurasian Affairs.

The discussion focused on the prospects of cooperation within the U.S.-Ukraine Strategic Partnership Commission, as well as on topical issues of the international agenda.

In the framework of the 48th Munich Conference on Security Policy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Kostyantyn Gryshchenko held a bilateral meeting with Federal Minister for Foreign Affairs of Germany Guido Westerwelle

On February 6, 2012 the Seventh Round of the Political Consultations on the level of Deputy Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and the Republic of Korea was held.
