The meeting was chaired by Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Georgian National Coordinator of GUAM David Jalaghania.

The participants discussed the issues related to the current activity of the Organization, in particular, the political interaction of the GUAM Member States and development of sectoral cooperation as well as issues of preparation for        the 21^th Meeting of the GUAM Council of Ministers for Foreign Affairs and «GUAM+» high level meetings, which are to be held on 26 September 2013 in New York within the framework of the 68^th Session of the UN General Assembly. The Ukrainian party underlined the importance of further traditional cooperation in “GUAM+USA” and “GUAM+Japan” format and expressed readiness to start the high level GUAM – Pacific Alliance political dialogue.

Mr. Victor Mayko stressed out that the successful realization of these projects would give a new impetus to the strengthening of mutually beneficial cooperation with  the GUAM Member and the GUAM Partner States.
