Emphasizing the importance of the Agreement for both Ukraine and the EU, Leonid Kozhara informed about the advantages and new opportunities that will be available to representatives of foreign, including U.S., business after its conclusion and the establishment of Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Area with the European Union.

The Minister paid special attention to the issues of Ukrainian-US trade and economic cooperation, noting its progressive development and wide prospects of deepening collaboration in energy, agriculture, transport etc.

As a result of the meeting the US-Ukrainian Business Council issued a statement in support of signing of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the European Union in Vilnius this November.
