During the talks the parties stressed on their mutual interestedness in enhancing and deepening bilateral, regional and international cooperation.

Special attention was paid to a visit of President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov and the 8th meeting of the Joint Ukrainian-Uzbek intergovernmental commission on comprehensive cooperation, facilitiation of trade and economic relations, investment, cultural and humanitarian cooperation.

During the meeting Leonid Kozhara and Abdulaziz Kamilov also discussed current international issues of mutual interest. Leonid  Kozhara especially emphasized the importance of the Association Agreement with the EU for Ukraine.

The Ministers signed the Program for cooperation between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan for 2014-2015.
