OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Leonid Kozhara laid flowers at the monument of Taras Shevchenko, set in the central area of Ashgabat.

After the ceremony, the Minister held a meeting with representatives of Ukrainian companies working in Turkmenistan. In the course of the meeting, Leonid Kozhara spoke of the preparation for the celebration of the 200th Anniversary of the birth of the Great Kobzar, that is to be honored in 2014.
