Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Mr. Andriy OLEFIROV participated in the 21st EUBAM Advisory Board Meeting held on 18 October in Odessa.

H.E. Jan Tombinski, Head of the Delegation of the European Union to Ukraine; H.E. Pirkka Tapiola, Head of the Delegation of the European Union to the Republic of Moldova; H.E. Serhii Pyrozhkov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Republic of Moldova; H.E. Iulian Groza the Head of the Delegation of the Republic of Moldova, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Moldova; representatives of UNDP, IOM and OSCE also participated in the 21st EUBAM Advisory Board meeting.

During the meeting the participants discussed the current state and prospects of cooperation between Ukraine and Moldova with the EUBAM Mission, including the results of the joint border control operations as well as the process of the Ukrainian-Moldavian state border demarcation.

At the meeting the parties also agreed EUBAM Action Plan for Phase 10 (1 December 2013 – 30 November 2015).
