On January 23, 2012 within the framework of the official visit to Mexico Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Kostyantyn Gryshchenko and Secretary of Finance and Public Credit of Mexico Jose Antonio Meade signed in Mexico City the Convention between the Government of Ukraine and the Government of the United Mexican States for the Avoidance of Double Taxation and the Prevention of Fiscal Evasion with respect to Taxes on Income and on Property.

This document must give a new impetus to further development of the Ukrainian-Mexican trade and economic relations as well as investment cooperation.
