Deputy Minister Victor Mayko congratulated Ambassador Nguyen Minh Tri on his appointment to the important position and wished him every success in his diplomatic activities.

During the meeting the current state and prospects of development of Ukrainian- Vietnamese relations were discussed. In particular, it was emphasized on the necessity of maintaining high-level political contacts, development of cooperation in trade and economic spheres as well as expanding of the legal basis relations between Ukraine and Vietnam.

Both parties also exchanged their views on the topical issues of the international agenda.
