On February 10, 2011, Mr. Viсtor Mayko, Deputy Foreign Minister of Ukraine, met Mr. Andre Kuusvek, the Director of European Bank for Reconstruction and Development to Ukraine. During the meeting both sides discussed issues related to preparation of the Chernobyl Pledging conference on contributions to the Chernobyl "Shelter" Fund and the Nuclear Safety Account.

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, which accumulates the Chernobyl Funds, acts as the main moderator of the forthcoming Conference.
