On 12 January 2012, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Kostyantyn Gryshchenko held a meeting with Ambassador of Canada to Ukraine Troy Lulashnyk.

In the course of the meeting, discussed were the topical issues of bilateral cooperation and the avenues of further development of Special Partnership relations between Ukraine and Canada. Special attention was paid to the ways of intensifying trade and economic cooperation between two countries
