In the course of the working visit to Paris, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andrii Deshchytsia held talks with the diplomatic adviser to the French President Mr. Paul Jean-Ortiz.
The conversation focused on the tense situation in Ukraine as the result of the unlawful intrusion of the military forces of the Russian Federation on the territory of our country.
The Minister shed light on the chronology of recent events on the Crimean peninsula and shared his opinion of the illegal actions of the Russian Federation which endanger security and territorial integrity of Ukraine and represent a gross violation of international law.
In this regard Mr. Deshchytsa expressed gratitude for the consistent position of the top French leaders supporting territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine.
