On January 12 this year Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Kostyantyn Gryshchenko had telephone talk with Minister for External Relations of the Federative Republic of Brazil Antonio Patriota. During the talk the parties discussed the state of realization of agreements reached during the telephone talk of the Presidents of Ukraine and Brazil, including the upcoming visit of Ukrainian Head of State Viktor Yanukovych to Brazil.

The parties confirmed the determination of the two countries to step up bilateral political dialogue, to facilitate cooperation within the framework of international organizations, as well as to support political contacts at the high and topmost levels.

At the end of the talk Kostyantyn Gryshchenko invited his Brazilian counterpart to come to Ukraine on an official visit in any convenient time
