On June 20, 2012 in the framework of his working visit to the Republic of Austria, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Kostyantyn Gryshchenko has met Austrian People's Party group leader in the National Council of Austria Karl-Heinz Kopf. Also taking part in the meeting was National Council of Austria MP, OSCE Parliamentary Assembly Vice-President Wolfgang Grossruck.

The sides have discussed developing constructive political, economic, and cultural cooperation between Ukraine and Austria.

The parties praised the positive dynamics of bilateral political dialogue and the existence of favorable conditions for a successful development of investment and innovation cooperation between the two countries.

The Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine informed the Austrian People's Party group leader about the current political situation in Ukraine.

The parties emphasized their mutual interest in deepening cooperation between Ukraine and Austria in key European questions, as well as strengthening parliamentary cooperation.
