Political consultations at the level of First Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Ruslan Demchenko and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia Grigory Karasin were held.
The sides have discussed a wide range of issues of Ukrainian-Russian cooperation, including the schedule of bilateral events at the highest level, the process of preparation for meetings of the Committee on Economic Cooperation and the Ukrainian-Russian Intergovernmental Commission, etc.
Particular attention was paid to the question of forming legal and contractual framework for the Ukrainian-Russian border delimitation, as well as the question of stay of the Russian Black Sea Fleet on the territory of our country.
The Ukrainian and Russian side emphasized the importance of continuing the practice of regular political consultations between the Foreign Ministries of both countries.
