Deputy Minister Danylo Lubkivsky expressed his gratitude for the strong support by Romania of Ukraine’s territorial integrity.

State Secretary Bogdan Aurescu reiterated the position of the Romanian leadership condemning Russian aggression in Crimea and confirmed not recognizing the annexation of Crimea.

The Sides exchanged views on Transnistrian settlement and agreed to continue Ukrainian-Romanian dialog on this issue.

Key issues of bilateral cooperation were also discussed. It was agreed to sign bilateral Agreement on Local Border Traffic, which is set to become an important step towards visa liberalization for the citizens of Ukraine.
