On 19 March 2014, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Sergiy Kyslytsya had a meeting with Assistant Secretary-General of the United Nations, Assistant Administrator and Director of the Regional Bureau for Europe and the Commonwealth of Independent States of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Cihan Sultanoğlu.
Sergiy Kyslytsya emphasized that interaction with the United Nations is a cornerstone of the foreign policy activities of Ukraine. In this connection, the parties discussed the UNDP current priorities in Ukraine and the Programme tasks for the near future, taking into consideration the present situation in Ukraine, as well as the work of the UNDP office in Autonomous Republic of Crimea.
During the meeting, Cihan Sultanoğlu assured that the UNDP is ready to do its best as to provide efficient support of sustainable economic development in Ukraine.
