Deputy Foreign Minister Danylo Lubkivsky met with representatives of civil society

More than 70 representatives of non-governmental organizations and the media participated at the meeting which was held on March 24, 2014 at the Diplomatic Academy of Ukraine.

In his speech Danylo Lubkivsky outlined the current situation in our state under the conditions of aggression by the Russian Federation and the annexation of the Crimea. He also informed on the specific steps and efforts made by the state to stabilize the situation and get the full support of the international community’s for territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine.

The Deputy Minister emphasized the important role of civil society in working out governmental decisions and called public organizations for more active cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is completely open for cooperation with civil society. We fully recognize our shared responsibility for the European future of Ukraine”, - said D.Lubkivsky
