On March 31, Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Sergiy Kyslytsya received professor of the University of Shizuoka Shigeo Mutsushika, a known Japanese expert on international relations, particularly in Eastern European region.
During the meeting the sides focused on the events in Ukraine, especially in Crimea with regards to the Russian military invasion to the peninsula, and exchanged views on the prospects of stabilizing the situation in Ukraine and the region as a whole.
On the Japanese guest’s request Sergiy Kyslytsya informed about the efforts exerted by the leadership of Ukraine to stabilize the situation in Ukraine and Crimea.
