Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Danylo Lubkivsky met Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Kingdom of Sweden to Ukraine Andreas von Beckerath

Ambassador of Sweden Andreas von Beckerath commended prudent response of the Ukrainian Government to Russia’s aggressive actions. Deputy Foreign Minister Danylo Lubkivsky expressed gratitude for Sweden’s support of Ukraine on the international arena and for the Swedish assistance in implementation of the internal reforms in Ukraine aimed at the European integration of our country.
Priority tasks on the Ukrainian-Swedish bilateral agenda were also discussed during the meeting.
Particular attention was paid to the opportunities for the Ukrainian-Swedish cooperation with the aim to support implementation of reforms in Ukraine, i.a. development of market economy, strengthening democratic institutions and energy efficiency.
The parties agreed to exert joint efforts to further support the development of civil society in Ukraine, strengthening democratic values and rule of law.
