Andriy Deshchytsia met today with the representatives of the Crisis Management Initiative (CMI) based in Helsinki and the European Policy Centre (EPC) (Brussels).
Discussions focused on the ongoing situation in Ukraine, relations with Russia and cooperation between Ukraine and the EU.
CMI and EPC representatives informed the Minister about the goals and current activities of their organizations. They also proposed to cooperate with the MFA and the Ukrainian NGOs on the issues of domestic reforms and Ukraine’s interaction with the OSCE and the EU.
The two sides exchanged their views on launching the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission in Ukraine and discussed the possibilities to settle the situation in Crimea and the Eastern regions of Ukraine.
