The parties welcomed the consolidated support by the international community of the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine both at the bilateral and multilateral level. Ms.Galibarenko informed about the anti-terrorist operation being conducted by the Ukrainian authorities and the plans of the Government of Ukraine to present at the four-side meeting in Geneva on April 17, 2014 the concrete evidence about the Russian special service involvement into the events in the eastern regions of Ukraine.
Mr.Krichbaum noted that the visit of members of the German Bundestag to Ukraine showcases support of the people of Ukraine and its aspiration to live in an independent and united Ukrainian state. He stressed that it is unacceptable when a third state exercises influence on this right.
The parties discussed the perspectives of the realization by the Government of large-scale reforms, including decentralization of power and fight against corruption, as well as the preparation for the presidential elections scheduled for May 25.
