On May 8 Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Sergiy Kyslytsya held a regular meeting with the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission to Ukraine. OSCE Secretary General Lamberto Zannier participated in the meeting, as well as representatives of the Swiss OSCE Chairmanship and participants of the Geneva meeting of April 17. The Russian Federation’s representative, despite having received the invitation, did not attend the meeting.
During the meeting its participants discussed issues of practical implementation of the Geneva agreements by all sides. It was specifically emphasized that the Geneva statement remains a primary reference point for further actions by all engaged sides to resolve the crisis situation in Ukraine.
