On June 18, 2014 Andrii Deshchytsia, Acting Foreign Minister of Ukraine, held talks with Lubomír Zaorálek, Foreign Minister of the Czech Republic, who is visiting Ukraine.
During the meeting special attention was paid to the current situation in Ukraine. Mr. Deshchytsia informed his colleague about the plan of the President of Ukraine for peaceful settlement of the situation in the Eastern regions of Ukraine, as well as on the progress in implementing the reform programme of the Ukrainian government.
L.Zaoralek expressed full support for the Ukrainian authorities’ efforts aimed at renewal of stability and ensuring sustainable economic development of Ukraine.
L.Zaoralek assured that the Czech Republic will continue providing comprehensive assistance for Ukraine, specifically in the implementation of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU, including establishment of the Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Area, as well as liberalization of visa-free regime with the EU for Ukrainian citizens.
Foreign Ministers also discussed key issues of bilateral agenda.
