On June 26 Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Danylo Lubkivsky held a video call with the Governing Council of the Community of Democracies a session of which took place in Warsaw.
The Deputy Minister spoke about a situation in the East of Ukraine and the peace plan by President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko. He underlined, however, the failure of terrorists to observe the ceasefire as since the beginning of truce there were 59 terrorist attacks on Ukrainian forces.
The Deputy Minister emphasized that our country is interested in intensifying cooperation with the Community of Democracies. He expressed a hope that the organization and its network of partners would reinforce support to development of transparent and responsible governance, as well as contribute to further strengthening of civil society in Ukraine.
