July 28th, Ukraine’s Embassy to the US, Washington D.C., while on a working trip to the United States the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin met with the leaders of the Washington Ukrainian community.
Participants exchanged their views on the political, economic and security situation in our country, as well as on the ways to fight Russian aggression and the information war against Ukraine. During the candid conversation, the parties discussed the possibilities of cooperation between the Ukrainian-American community and the GoU in order to gain full support of the US Administration for the tackling of Ukraine’s top-priority challenges.
The Foreign Minister Klimkin expressed his gratitude to Ukrainian-Americans for their support of maintaining our country’s interests at this difficult time. He pointed out that the strong US support for Ukraine is in many ways the result of the active position taken by the Ukrainian-American community.
