During the meeting a special attention was given to the efforts aimed at resolving the situation in the Eastern regions of Ukraine. Danylo Lubkivsky expressed his gratitude to the Government of Australia for the support of sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine.

The parties discussed current state and prospects of development of Ukrainian-Australian relations, underlining the necessity of maintaining regular political dialogue as well as intensifying trade and economic cooperation. Danylo Lubkivsky welcomed the official Canberra’s intention to open the Australian Embassy in Ukraine in the near future.
