During the meeting the parties discussed key issues of the bilateral relations, particularly the cooperation in political, trade and economy spheres. The parties underlined need of intensification of the political dialogue between Ukraine and Portugal and deepening of the interaction between the foreign ministries.

Special attention was paid to the issue of settlement of the situation in the East of Ukraine, first of all in the context of implementation of the Peace Plan of the President of Ukraine.

Natalia Galibarenko expressed gratitude to Portugal for support of the territorial integrity, sovereignty and inviolability of Ukrainian borders.

Maria Cristina Almeida assured readiness of official Lisbon to continue providing the support to our country in implementation of the reforms and realization of the European integration course.
