On October 29 Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Sergiy Kyslytsya received copies of credentials from newly appointed Ambassador of Japan to Ukraine Shigeki Sumi.
During the meeting the sides discussed the current status of Ukraine-Japan relations in political, economic and investment spheres, and noted necessity to deepen the dialogue, particularly within the framework of key international organizations and by exchange of visits at high and highest levels.
Sergiy Kyslytsya expressed gratitude for continued stand of the Government of Japan on support of territorial integrity of Ukraine and Japanese financial assistance for social needs and re-building of the Eastern regions of our country.
