On June 23, 2010 Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Oleksandr Horin met with the delegation of the Israeli Knesset headed by Deputy Speaker Alex Miller.

During the meeting the Sides discussed the Ukrainian-Israeli cooperation in trade and economic sphere, aviation, tourism, medical sphere, and also the prospects of liberalization of visa regime between Ukraine and Israel.

A special attention was paid to the situation in the Middle East, particularly the state of the Israeli-Palestinian negotiations. Deputy Foreign Minister O.Horin confirmed the position of Ukraine concerning the necessity to attain just, comprehensive and lasting peace in the region.

The Israeli parliamentary delegation stays in Ukraine with the working visit in the framework of cooperation between the parliamentary associations of friendship.
