Today, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin met in Bucharest with Romanian President Klaus Iohannis.

Minister Pavlo Klimkin thanked the President of Romania Claus Iohannis  for his consistent support of the territorial integrity, sovereignty and independence of Ukraine, as well as condemnation of Russia's annexation of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Russian aggression in the eastern Donetsk and Lugansk regions of Ukraine and Moscow's support of terrorist organizations "DNR" and "LNR".

They discussed the current state of bilateral relations in all fields, noting that at this stage the objective conditions are created for restart these relations based on genuine neighborliness, friendship and mutually beneficial cooperation, and helping improve the situation in the region of common neighborhood.
