On May 12, 2010 Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Viсtor Mayko met the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to Ukraine Nurberdy Amanmuradov upon his request.

In the course of the meeting the Parties discussed the issues of further development of traditionally friendly relations between Ukraine and Turkmenistan, in particular within the context of the preparation of bilateral high-level contacts in the year of 2010.

There was exchange of views on the perspectives of further development of bilateral co-operation in the political, cultural, trade and economic spheres.

The Parties have agreed to take all necessary measures to fully realize the agreements reached during the meeting between the Presidents of both States on May 08, 2010 in Moscow.
