During the meeting the particular attention was paid to the implementation of the Visa Liberalization Action Plan, including the issue of ensuring security of Ukrainian borders, migration management and the fighting against corruption.
The German side was informed about the creation of the National Anticorruption Bureau and appointment of its Head, reform of law enforcement agencies and measures taken Ukrainian side for the reintegration of internally displaced persons.
Also it was informed that for Ukraine it is crucial to have the European Commission’s Report with recommendation to grant visa free regime to Ukrainian citizens before the Riga Summit.
The German side promised to provide full support for Ukraine, particularly in the sphere of strengthening security of ID documents, as well as in fighting against illegal migration.
