The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine expresses its deep concern on the series of terrorist attacks and the escalation of violence in some African countries, particularly in the Republic of Chad and the northern part of Nigeria. Civilians continue to fall victims of the terrorist attacks.

Ukraine, which has been daily confronting the externally backed terrorist groups, expresses its solidarity and support to the Governments of Nigeria, Chad, Cameroon, Niger and Benin, which have joined their efforts around the fight against the common enemy. We call on the international community to take more decisive actions in order to fight against terrorism.

We express our sincere condolences to the bereaved families and wish the injured a speedy recovery.
