The delegation of Ukraine attends the 45th Regular Session of the Organization of American States’ General Assembly
The Ukrainian delegation headed by the Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs Mr. Sergiy Kyslytsya takes part, as the permanent observer, in the 45th Regular Session of the General Assembly of the Organization of American States (OAS), which has been opened in Washington.
During the meeting of the heads of delegation of the OAS member states and the Secretary General of the Organization with the heads of delegation of the permanent observers Mr. Sergiy Kyslytsia delivered an address focusing on Ukraine’s interaction with the Western Hemisphere countries.
Mr. Sergiy Kyslytsya informed of the present situation which evolved as a result of the illicit annexation of Crimea and the Russian aggression in the East of Ukraine as well as expressed gratitude to those countries of the Americas that supported our state’s territorial integrity and sovereignty, in particular within the UN and other international organizations.

On June 15, during the visit to the USA, the Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Sergiy Kyslytsya held a meeting with the Deputy Assistant Secretary for the Bureau of European and Eurasian Affairs of the US Department of State John Heffern and discussed the issues of Ukraine-US cooperation within the framework of the UN, OSCE and other international organizations.
